Customized Cooking Classes: Whether for individuals, couples, or small groups, Francisco can work with you to prepare a one-time or series-based class to learn how to cook or to expand your skills and your palate. Emphasis is always on fresh, local foods and making cooking a fun experience. Among his roster of happy students are clients of ShoreTrips and guests of Villa Sevilla Guest House in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Private Chef Services: Whether for regular meals or special events, Francisco offers private chef services to individuals and organizations. From menu design to cooking and presentation of plates, Francisco has provided private chef services to celebrities, politicians, and anyone who can enjoy a good meal.

Presentations and Lectures on Cuban Culture and Art: As former art gallery owners and scholars of Cuban culture, Francisco and Julie possess a deep knowledge and understanding of Cuban culture and art. An area of particular interest is Afro-Cuban art. We are available for lectures and presentations in schools, universities, special interest groups, and social organizations. We also provide consultation services to researchers, journalists, students, and filmmakers who need fact-checking for projects related to Cuban culture.

Writing Services: Julie is available for freelance writing assignments, and is particularly interested in topics related to Latin American culture, politics, and social movements.

Translation Services: Francisco and Julie offer English-Spanish/Spanish-English translation services that blend the expertise of native language fluency with deep knowledge of the target cultures. Past projects have included: translation of the treatment for the documentary, “Punto de Vista,” by Corduroy Media; translation of all textual materials for the photographic exhibit, “La Boquilla,” which traveled to Colombia, Los Angeles, and New York; and translation of the 10 year strategic plan for a Galicia winery.
