		<description>One of the things that makes NYC so different from just about anywhere in the U.S. is the &quot;anything goes&quot; atmosphere on the subways. I think roving mariachis are a relatively new phenomenon. 

I&#039;ve been taking the metro in DC for a long time, but I&#039;ve only come across a few quirky people etc. In NYC&#039;s subway seeing the unusual etc. is a daily event.</description>
