		<description>Red winged blackbirds were one of my favourites when I was a child. Last week, in California, my husband was looking out the window at my parents&#039; house and asked what that bird was with the red and yellow on its wings. I just about jumped out of my seat to try and catch a glimpse since I knew exactly what it was.
