I always learn something new from your writing. I also remember your article on Traverse about Juan Picasso. Its been fascinating to watch the world respond to Obama's candidacy. A telling sign was when Anderson Cooper noted on CNN that though the focus group's "thermometers" indicated that they liked what Obama was saying more over McCain during the debate, the majority still voted for McCain when asked by show of hands. An absolute deep-seated fear of the unknown. It has been quite interesting moving around this world in my skin. "We don’t ask to be loved, but we do ask to be respected!"....so true!
