Great question, Matt. The photos are still in the camera. ;) I just bought an external hard drive and am trying to transfer all my documents and photos to that... my computer is running way too slowly because I've got everything on my hard drive. I'll post them soon as an update!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels so apologetic for taking photos! :)
One of the "aha!" moments of my photo excursion was realizing that many people love to have their photo taken. A shoeshine man blew me kisses, asked me to take a second shot in case the first one wasn't good, and then wanted to see the photo.

Great post! I can completely relate to this... I was photographing the Boston Marathon, and I felt a little embarrassed to be clicking away at runners who were exhausted and barely hobbling back to their buses... So I turned my lens on the crowd instead and some of the people where actually EXCITED that I was taking their picture (especially the guy with the huge "Hot Girls Come Here" with an arrow pointed down, who must had thought he was going to make front page the way he reacted). I ended up getting some interesting shots that stood out from the regular "runners running" fare.
